Abstract

Belts.-In linked belts of the kind in which pairs of blocks 6 of leather or the like forming the frictional elements engaging the V-grooves in the pulleys are connected by screws 12, the elements being pivotally connected by metal links 10, the pivot pins 11 on the links 10 register with the lower edges of such links so that the lower edges of the blocks 6 may be pressed together in the pulleys without binding on the metal links or pulling apart at the tops. The links 10 are preferably formed from T-bar, the head of the T being cut away to form the pivots 11.
