Abstract

282,296. Suchorzynski, A,. von. June 16, 1927. Diaphragms. - A sound - reproducing diaphragm for use in phonographic soundboxes, telephone receivers &c., is cupshaped, its vertex being eccentric to the periphery, and is formed with eccentric circular ribs 2 and radial ribs 3. The whole surface is thus subdivided into segments of different sizes. The diaphragm is shaped in cross-section, as shown in Fig. 2, to imitate the form of the tympanum of the human ear.
