Abstract

280,482. Purvis, G. A. E., and Purvis, J. H. Sept. 27, 1927. Folding vehicles.-A folding baby carriage comprises two main frames 1, 2 pivoted together at their lower ends to a transverse member 3 and provided with pivoted tie rods 4, 4a adapted to engage rods 5 to keep the baby carriage in operative position. A flexible seat 6 is provided and legs 12 may be provided on one or both frames, one of the legs being provided with an adjustable foot rest. Pivoted members may be provided to support a canopy. The wheel axle 7 is supported in the transverse member 3 by means of springs 9.
