Shafts.-Collapsable baby carriages are pro. vided with a handle member consisting of two telescoping rods or tubes 10, 11 for traction and for folding or extending the carriage. The part 11 is adapted to be locked in the part 10, when extended, by means of a spring 15, Fig. 7, and the part 10 is locked in the carriage frame by means of the spring 18, Fig. 5, engaging an aperture 21.
