Abstract

277,663. Lorenzen-Turbinen Akt.- Ges., (Assignees of Lorenzen Ges., C.). Sept. 20, 1926, [Convention date]. Blades.-Turbine blades whih may be hollow are formed with head portions and a number of blades are joined together by welding the beads to form a unit which may be set into or removed from the rotor in which it is secured by root portions on the blades. The form shown consists of a number of blades 1 having outer head portions 2, welded together to form a continuous ring with grooved side rings 8 connected thereto, and root portions 3 which are secured beneath flanges 5 when the two parts 6<1> forming the rotor are bolted together. The flanges 5 may have teeth 12 fitting between the blades. The grooved side rings 8 form a packing device with a corresponding flange on the stator.
