Abstract
271,102. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., (Assignees of Junggren, 0.). May 15. 1926, [Convention date]. Blades are formed with shoulders interlocking with a shoulder on the rotor rim, and with a projection on each side adapted to be forced radially inwards to secure the blades. The shoulder 9 on the blade 6 engages the shoulder 16 on the rim 12 and a projection 7 is forced into the groove 18 on one side and a projection 10 depressed over the bevel 14 on the other side. This method of securing the blades by radial movement enables the device to be used readily with small rotors. The complete blade ring may be formed as described in Specification 163,370 or in Specification 230,065.
