Abstract

271,243. Warren, H. P. May 18, 1926. Skein holders.-A collapsable holder for skeins of wool and the like comprises ribs 18 provided with yokes 25 and pivotally attached at 17 to the circumference of a flange 16 formed at the lower end of a sleeve 15 rotatable on the faxed spindle 10. The arms 18 are secured by links 21 to a collar 19 slidable on the sleeve 15, and a spring 23 is interposed between an abutment 24, adjustable on the sleeve 15, and the collar 19 to impart a suitable tension to the skein. A detachable cup-shaped ball holder 27 is provided.
