270,867. Redman, E. March 29, 1926. Razors. - A device for holding safety-razor blades for stropping &c. comprises two strips e, g pivoted together at f to swing parallel to the surfaces of the strips. One strip e is longer than the other and is bent back upon itself to form an open handle portion d, the end being secured at b by a lip, tongue, or rivet, but leaving a space i to accommodate the other strip g in the closed position, the strip g having a notch h to receive the rivet &c. b. Projection and recesses j, k, may be provided for engagement with the usual positioning holes in the blade. In use the blade l is positioned on strip e by the projection j, and the strip g is then swung into position over the blade with the end m accommodated in the handle d.
