Multiple-bolt fastenings; sliding bolts; turnbutton fasteners.-Door and window fastenings consisting of two sliding bolts a, b connected by a pivoted operating link c also actuate an auxiliary strip-metal bolt k. The bolt k may slide in guides l and carry pins m engaged by the main bolt, or it may pivot at n and be slotted at p to engage a pin o on the main bolt. To facilitate folding, the inner ends of the bolts a, b are rounded, while one bolt may end in a bevel a<2> to limit the rotation of the link c. The link c may be extended at c<2>, Fig. 6, to form a handle or may have an extension c<1>, Fig. 5, engaged by the bolt r of an independent key lock q.
