267,226. Walker, H. Dec. 12, 1925. Pulp, preparation of. - In obtaining cellulose pulp from the stems and leaves of solanaceµ, the plants, such as potato haulms, gathered preferably before they are fully ripe, are frozen in water once or several times until they form a soft pulpy mass. The product may then be made into wrapping paper, or it may be first bleached, and boiled under pressure with water or with caustic soda.
