Teeth, artificial.-A tray for simultaneous. ly taking impressions of the upper and lower gums and teeth and at the same time obtaining the bite, for use in making dentures to replace one or more missing teeth, comprises two longitudinally curved side plates 10 which are divergent upwardly and downwardly and are connected by a slotted cross-bar 12 through which passes a removable celluloid or like flexible parting plate 14. A slotted handle 16, Fig. 6, may be engaged with a projection 18 on the outer side plate 10. In use, plaster, wax, or other plastic material is placed in the upper and lower parts of the tray and the combined impression and bite taken, the cross-bar 12 coming within the space left by a missing tooth. The tray is then placed in an articulator and plaster is introduced to make a cast from each impression and to secure said casts to the articulator. The articulator is opened after the plaster has set and the tray with its impressions is then removed, leaving the casts in correct occlusal position.
