Abstract

7168. Crichton, J. P. March 21. Teeth, artificial.-A device to facilitate the arranging of the teeth upon the dentures consists of a plate 3, Fig. 2, curved or bent to represent the occlusal surface. The plate, which is preferably spherical, may be pivoted to the parts of the articulator representing the condyles by a pin passed through holes 1, and has lines or ridges thereon to indicate the dental arch. A device for holding the trial plates 8, 9, Fig. 6, and models 6, 7, while they are being fixed upon the arms of the articulator, consists of a curved frame 11, which is similarly secured to the articulator to lie in the occlusal plane and is provided with holes through which holding-pins 12 are passed. Specification 9184/13 is referred to.
