Abstract

260,390. Lightalloys, Ltd., and Shephard, H. Sept. 15, 1925. Moulds of metal are heated internally by gas burners. A mixture of gas and air is introduced through pipes 11 to chambers 6 in walls 4 attached to the moulds so as to leave combustion chambers 7. Holes 9 to serve as burners are formed in the plates 8 which may be detachable, or other forms of burner may be used. The burnt gases escape at 10.
