Abstract

259,423. Robinson, F. Dec. 16, 1925. Sliding bolts for sheet metal doors such as are used with bathroom cabinets, are mounted in a slotted or cut-away part of an embossed or recessed part of the door. The door a is embossed or recessed as at b and slotted to receive the casing c of a bolt d in the way shown in Figs. 1, 5. and 7. The casing and bolt are made from sheet metal stampings bent to angle-shape and fitting one within the other as shown in Fig. 8. The bolt may be solid and of square cross-section or may be a flat stamping d<2> with handle e<1> bent from the stamping as shown in Fig. 9.
