249,857. Seitz-Werke Ges. March 25, 1925, [Convention date]. Leaf filters.-A tank 2 is provided with a door 3 at the side for the introduction of filter frames 1 which are put in connection with discharge pipes 9, 10 by connecting members 5, 6, held in place by screws 16, 17 carried by bridge members 13, 14. Each frame is provided with sliding members or rollers 19, 20 which are guided in the corrugations of upper and lower plates 21, 22. A fibrous filtering-material, such as paper, may be deposited on the frames from a liquid. The plate 21 may be perforated so that it will - serve to distribute the liquid to be filtered.
