[Class 46] [Also in Group XXVIII] A filter comprises perforated axial and peripheral inlet and outlet frames 1, 2 between which sheets 3 of filtering material are loosely inserted, the whole being held together by end plates removably secured by bolts 7 and nuts 8. The filter surfaces may be held distended by porous fillings or ribbed plates inserted on the low-pressure side. Specifications 155,371 and 227,550, [both in Class 46], are referred to.
