Detachable-rim attachments to wheels.-Each spoke a of a vehicle wheel is divided by a slit n into resilient ends b, b<1>, which are formed with wedge-shaped surfaces to bear against projections c, c<1> on the rim d when the spoke-ends b, b<1> are forced apart by bolts g. The bolts g are screwed by a threaded part i into the spoke-end b and pass freely through the end b<1>, being held in position by a ring h and a seating-surface k on the bolt g, as shown. To prevent creeping of the rim, a ring l on the bolt g fits a recess l<1> on the projection c. In a modification, the clamping of the rim is effected on drawing together the spoke ends by a nut on the bolt g. The ring l which secures the rim against creeping is then fitted between the spoke-ends.
