247,503. Baker Perkins, Ltd., Baker, G. R., and Dumbleton, C. Nov. 14, 1924. Endless chain conveyers with platform carriers.-Pans, trays, &c. x supporting the articles carried rest at each side on a bar 25<c> which is connected by a boss 25a to an arm 25 pivotally connected to the chain 5. Rollers 24a, 24 run on a guide rail 7 and rest on a projection 23 on a sprocket 19, respectively. The sprocket 19 is geared to the conveyer chain sprocket 6 and turns at such a rate that the pans are maintained horizontal as they pass from one run of the conveyer to the other. Curved guides 26 maintain the roller and projection in engagement. Specification 247,298, [Class 51 (ii). Furnaces and kilns for applying &c.], is referred to.
