Abstract

243,726. Hansen, S. S. Nov. 29, 1924, [Convention date]. Regulating.-A two-stroke engine is controlled by returning during the upstroke of the piston, a part of the mixture back to the reservoir 16 through the pipe 17, the amount returned depending on the time the valve 18 is held open. If desired, the pipe 17 may be also used as an additional mixture-admission pipe, the valve 18 being held open during the first part of the upstroke. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also states that the time the valve is held open is determined either manually or by a governor acting on an axially adjustable cam. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
