Abstract

Manually-actuated multiple-way valves. - The water-circulating pipe of apparatus for heating water for domestic purposes &c. is provided with a three-way valve f, Fig. 1, adapted, when in the position shown, to allow the water to circulate and when in one or the other of two alternative positions to be withdrawn through the parts a, e of the pipe from either the top or the bottom of the tank. In a modification, the valve is formed with passages k, m, n, Fig. 3, which communicate with the annularly-arranged parts a, e of the pipe.
