Spaces 2, 3 are left as shown between the chassis and the front and rear ends respectively of the body longitudinals 4. A further support comprising .a flexible member 11 is introduced at the rear end between the cross-members 6, 10 of the body and chassis respectively. The front part 7 of the body is arranged at a slight distance from the dashboard 8, which is carried by the chassis, to permit play.
