[Class 108 (i)] In a road vehicle body the mountings f transmitting the main transverse and vertical load from the front road wheels b are carried by a transverse vertical bulkhead a which lies approximately over the front wheels b. The mountings for the rear wheels d may be carried by a similar bulkhead c. The bulkheads a and c are carried by longitudinals e and the front bulkhead a may carry a forwardlyextending framework g, h, which supports the engine.
