Abstract

238,282. Haak, G. F. May 10, 1924. Trawling-gear; net floats and buoys.-Boatshaped floating warping appliances 3 are connected by long warps 2 and a branch rope 4 to the towing vessel 1 and by long warps 7, 9 to the net. Rows of eves or the like for attachment of the warps are provided on the warping devices which are also fitted with adjustable rudders 6. Large torpedo-shaped floats 13 are secured to the lacing line connecting the top of the wings with the back of the net at or near the front of the net and to the warps connecting the ground line with the warping appliance there are attached short ropes 14 with weights 15.
