Abstract

237,484. Rand, J. H. Dec. 6, 1924. Stencils. - In a stencil of the kind comprising a backing perforated near each end and a stencilsheet attached t'o the backing at each end, the backing I is unattached to the stencil-sheet S intermediate the perforations L, so that part of the backing may be removed readily, and portions E, E<1> of the backing which are provided with slots O for attachment to the stencilling machine extend beyond each end of the sheet S. In use, the intermediate portion of the backing is detached from one end E or E<1> and is moistened, the stencil is then cut on a typewriter, and the intermediate portion is wholly detached.
