Abstract

236,530. Soc. Anon. des Etablissements J. Cocard. July 7, 1924, [Convention date]. Safety-valves.-A safety valve of the kind controlled by an auxiliary valve is arranged so that the opening movement of the main valve 4 closes the passage 12 connecting the actuating chamber 6 with the auxiliary valve chamber. The auxiliary valve 8 is loaded by a spring 11 and is actuated by inlet pressure acting on a part 9. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a modification in which the auxiliary valve controlling a safety valve may be provided with a flange 13 adapted to co-operate with an adjustable sleeve 15 so as to give a pop action. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
