Abstract

233,595. Roper, B. H. Nov. 26, 1924. Funnels.-In a funnel having a float at the lower end of a central indicating-rod movable in a central tube, the upper end of the tube B is supported by a transverse vertical plate E having an upper part H for registering the rising of the indicating-rod A. A gauge G prevents the funnel from being inserted too deeply into the container to be filled. The tube B is attached at its lower end to the inside of the funnel, below the discharge hole D, and a strainer F is provided. The float C may be cylindrical and be fitted with rollers J to engage against the interior of the tube B.
