Abstract

231,197. Nordling, P. A. March 24, 1924, [Convention date]. Hooks, closed.-A closed hook 1 is provided with a pivotal spring- pressed catch 9 which co-operates with a projection 10 on the closing member 2 to retain the member 2. in the closed position. The catch 9 is completely housed in a recess 6 in the body of the hook and the edges of the recess are bevelled at 13 to facilitate the operation of the catch by means of a finger. A spring 7 is provided to open the hook on releasing the catch.
