Abstract

229,055. Drewry, J. S., and Shelvoke, H. Jan. 5, 1924. Controlling different functions by same handle or lever.-Cams on a rotatable control shaft operate the engine throttle and also the several clutches of an epicyclic change speed and reverse gear. The cam 53 operates a push rod connected to the throttle valve, and cams 47, 48, 49, 50 similarly operate push rods controlling the clutches of the gearing.
