221,350. Tullis, D. K. Sept. 13, 1923. Ironing-machines with endless aprons and converging-members. - In an endless-apron machine such as described in Specification 14194/13, and particularly one in which bands 1 are guided by three rollers 2, 2<a> 2b, two of which are located respectively above and below the leading-off roller 7, one of these rollers, preferably the intermediate roller 2<b>, is positively driven from the roller 5 with which the apron 4 coacts. The drive is through the pinions 11, 10, 8, and stripping-blades 3, 6 are provided at the leading- on and leading-off sides of the roller 5 respectively.
