Electrically - tripped switches. - Consists in a modification or improvement in the temperature regulators described in the parent Specification. An arm 1 is held set by solder to a frame 2. A spring-actuated rod 4 carrying a contact 5, an apertured plate 7, a bent plate 16 and a spring plate 9, is held in the circuitclosed position by the engagement of a shoulder 13 on the arm 1 with the spring plate 9. When the temperature rises sufficiently, the solder melts, allowing the arm 1 to rotate slightly and the rod 4 to move up and break contact. At the end of the movement the left side of the aperture 8 moves the arm 1 back to its original position where it is resoldered. The apparatus is re-set by depressing the rod 4, the spring 9 slipping over the shoulder 13.
