Abstract
210,243. Brook, J. A. Dec. 12, 1922, Holders.-For locking an electric lamp in a holder, more particularly a holder of the " Home Office " type, an externally-screwed ring g on the lamp cap, prevented from rotating by means such as pins h engaging in the lamp-holder bayonet slots f, has on it a ring i which can be screwed up or down so as to cause the lamp to be held aga.inst vertical movement. The inner ring is formed with internal slots so as to enable it to be passed over the lamp pins e. and the outer ring has recesses to receive projections on a tool j. Fig. 5 shows the invention applied to an ordinary lamp-holder. The outer ring i can be screwed down on to the cap c, and is formed with sharp edges i<2> so that it cannot be grasped by the hand.
