Abstract
The apparatus comprises a feeding roll (9) and a yarn accumulator which deflects the filling yarn creating a loop in its rectilinear path and which is placed between the fabrication nozzle (6) and the feeding roll (9). The filling yarn is deflected from its rectilinear path towards the yarn accumulator by means of two deviation elements (4, 5) for each filling yarn. The first deviation element (4) guides the filling yarn when it deflects it from its rectilinear path by forming a loop; it thus accumulates it. The second element (5) guides the yarn when it emerges from the accumulator, that is when the loop is suppressed in order to confer a rectilinear path. The act of guidance of the yarn when it emerges from the accumulator allows a perfect synchronization of the yarn's end during its insertion in the fluid beam which is displaced along the width of the loom. The deviation element (5) which withdraws the yarn from the accumulator, covers the necessary path during the time needed for the insertion of the woof. This timing is identical for all the filling yarn to be inserted. The deviation element however, which guides the yarn during its accumulation can travel along the path much slower, and the more slowly the more filling yarn there is to be inserted.
