Abstract

203,262. Gillet, A. F. Jan. 4, 1923. Clips, band.-A worm 17 mounted in a bracket 14 on the inner overlapping end of the band 12 engages in grooves 18 in the outer end of the band to tighten the band 12 around the hose 11. The bracket 14 is secured to the band 12 by soldering its flanges 15 to the underside thereof, Fig. 6, the flanges being bent inwardly to provide shoulders 16 to form a guideway for the outer end of the band. The underside of the inner end of the band is bevelled at 13.
