Abstract

A method of cooling and a cooler for cooling carbonated liquids particularly beer in which the liquid is supplied from a container to and taken from the cooler to a dispenser by a common conduit, there being provided at least two parallel cooling paths (1, 2) between the common conduits (12 and 16) so that the carbonated liquid can be cooled more effectively without suffering pressure drops or increased thermal disadvantages necessary when using larger diameter tubes. The pipes, which may be coiled, may be immersed in or flooded with a cooled liquid 4 in known manner. <IMAGE>
