[Cognate Ap-. plication, 23,862/14.] Cleaning, fluid-pressure processes for.-An apparatus for cleaning boiler flues comprises a tube 1 connected with a suction device such as a steam ejector, the tube being formed with an upturned end 2 constituting an entrance for air and being provided with an aperture 4 for the entrance of flue dust, which is so formed that the cross-sectional area of the column of flue dust is of less area than the entrance for the air, so that any tendency of the tube 1 to choke is avoided. A cleaning-installation for a series of boiler flues may be arranged, comprising a series of tubes 1 connected to a suction device and combined with means, such as valves, for regulating the induced gaseous flow.
