Abstract

5424. Montanus, H. March 5,1913, [Convention date]. Studs; b u t t o n s . - A detachable button comprises a top plate c, Fig. 4, having an inturned edge i and projections h, an intermediate plate b, Fig. 7, provided w i t h springs g, and a bottom plate a having pins d which pass through the fabric and through holes in the plate b. When the parts are assembled as shown in Fig. 7 the projections h in the t o p plate c press the spring g into engagement with the pins d to lock the button in position. The plate c is secured to the plate b by lugs on the plate b entering notches k in the inturned edge i, the plates being secured together by rotation. Notches m are also provided in the projections h with which the springs g engage. The parts may be secured together by screwing.
