3251. Bowker, W. H. Feb. 7. Roving and thread guides.-Lappets are provided with two guides which may be adjustable relatively to one another and are adjustable simultaneously in the lappet without disturbing their relative adjustment. In the arrangement shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the pig-tail j is adjustably screwed into the plate a that carries the cylindrical guide b and is adjustably secured in the lappet by means such as are described in Specification 8834/04. The cylindrical guide b may be adjustably mounted in slots in the ears c ; or the two guides b, j may be fixed relatively to one another.
