Abstract
190,387. Alexander, C. O. Feb. 3, 1922. Trawling-gear.-An under-water kite or otter is made with multiple depressing planes 1 between vertical planes 2 slightly inclined to each other, as shown in Fig. 3, and with adjustable vertical and horizontal tail-planes 3, 4, for which automatic controls such as are used in torpedoes may be provided. The kite is towed from the apex of three slings 5, 6, 7, which apex is connected to a ship directly or through the intermediary of a surface float.
