Abstract

174,883. White, G. H. May 13, 1921. Belts.-Relates to belts of the kind in which a chain of detachable links is embedded in rubber E. Each link of the chain comprises a hook portion A turned over towards a wider base portion B having an aperture C of D-shape to be engaged by the hook of the next link. The links are pressed and pierced from strip steel, and are hardened and tempered.
