Elastic - diaphragm pressure gauges.-In flexible diaphragm pressure gauges for use on traction engines and l i k e vehicles and of the type having the pointer spindle cranked and linked to a spring-controlled rod actuated by a bell-crank lever rocked by the diaphragm, the rod is mounted to slide in lugs i and carries a block k adjustable in position by a setscrew k against w h i c h bears the spring. The short arm of the bell-crank lever bears against a cone f on the diaphragm. This mechanism is supported by two parts a, h kept apart by distance-pieces h<2> and secured to the body of the gauge.
