Elastic-diaphragm pressure gauges.-Comprises indicating-mechanism for a gauge of the type in which the air pressure in a pipe extending to the bottom of the liquid whose depth is to be gauged acts upon a diaphragm or bellows. Air from the pipe b enters a bellows or double diaphragm a the movement of which through a short rod d is transmitted to a bell-crank lever mounted on a pivot and formed by an arm f into which is screwed a stud e constituting the other arm. The movement of the bell crank is transmitted by a wire link k passed through an eye on the arm f and through an eye in a pin m extending through the enlarged part of the spindle j for the pointer i and secured by a clamping screw n. The pointer is returned by a spring p. By adjusting the screw e and the pin m the range of the instrument can be adjusted.
