Abstract

153,984. Haslam, W. A. Aug. 27, 1919. Steering.-A device for preventing the theft or unauthorized movement of aeroplanes &c. comprises a clamp a with attachment lugs b through which pass connecting hooked members c held in the assembled position by a detachable cross pin e secured by a lock f. The clamp is secured to the steering-column or to the dashboard, and the hooked ends of the members c engage the spokes of the steering wheel when the device is used for preventing unauthorized movement of the control members. The device is released by a. control key.
