Abstract

1512370 Childs chair M S KORSHAK 8 Jan 1976 [11 Oct 1974] 44200/74 Heading A4J [Also in Division B7] A child's resilient plastics chair is moulded in one piece and includes a seat 12, backrest 7 and sides 13, the sides having outwardly directed upper flanges 10 provided with ribs 9 on their under surface to releasably engage with corresponding ribs (4) provided on angle pieces (3) on the under surface of a table (1). The seat 12 has a channel 15a and the backrest 7 has flanges 11, 11a, 11b so that the seat can be releasably mounted on a folding X-frame 8 which may be height adjustable. The chair may be mounted on a vehicle seat by a bracket 39 suspended on the back squab 31 and having projections 133, 134 engaged in a selected pair of bosses 17a, 17b on the backrest 7 and by a folding frame 34, 30a engaged beneath the back squab 31 and to which straps (37, 38) passing through slots 15d in seat 12 and apertures 7b in the backrest are anchored. Bracket 39 may be used to mount the chair in an inclined position.
