Abstract

1507790 Grain drying apparatus S YAMAMOTO 10 Aug 1976 33304/76 Heading A2Q Grain drying apparatus comprises a drying chamber 1 having a perforated bottom plate 3 through which air is blown to dry the grain in the chamber, which contains a cylindrical tube 20 through which air is extracted by connection with air extract passages in the form of inverted troughs 30 each extending radially from the cylindrical tube 20 at a level lower than that to which air forced into the drying chamber can pass through the mass of grain. Grain above the troughs may be circulated through the drying chamber by means of an auger 9 and elevator 8, thus drying all of the grain in turn.
