1506783 Cooling dynamo-electric machines ASEA AB 1 Aug 1975 32219/75 Addition to 1391957 Heading H2A In a rotary machine of the type disclosed in the parent Specification, instead of all of the intermediate sheet metal parts being connected to the stator core at a plurality of points, either some or all of the intermediate sheet metal parts are connected to the core at a single point which may extend the entire axial length of the core or, alternatively, only some of the intermediate sheet metal parts are connected to the stator core at any desired number of points. Where only some of the intermediate sheet metal parts are connected to the stator core, the number so connected may be as low as 10% of the total number of intermediate parts but is preferably at least 25% to ensure adequate transfer of heat.
