1506377 Load measurement DEFENCE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR 28 Feb 1975 [20 Dec 1973] 59260/73 Headings G1N and G1W A load measuring device on a vehicle comprises a pair of spaced adjacent beams 2, 4, at least one of the beams being resiliently deformable towards the other and carrying strain gauges 17 arranged to measure its surface strain. The beams may be bolted together as in Fig. 1 or integral as in Figs. 2, 3, and may be of steel or glass reinforced plastics.
