150,548. Flaxman, A. E. Nov. 21, 1919. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Handles.-The handles a of golf clubs, bats, hockey sticks, &c. comprise a reduced portion a<1> and an outer sleeve b of light rigid wood such as willow or poplar. The central portion may be further reduced and an intermediate sleeve c of cork introduced. The reduced central portion may be tapered or the reduction may be extended to the top of the handle. Specification 8798/15 is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 5233/96 and 11576/05.
