Abstract

1493748 Protection frames GEORG FRITZMEIER KG 10 Feb 1976 [10 Feb 1975] 05129/76 Heading B7B In a vehicle protection frame, particularly for tractors, of U-shaped structure, the limbs 2, which are connected to the rear axle, are telescopically adjustable in length and a web 3 is adjustably connected to the upper end of each limb 2 by means of sleeves 4. As shown in Fig. 1 brackets 1 supporting the lower tube 7 of the limbs 2 are adapted to be clamped to the rear axle (not shown). Further support is provided by clamping the tubes 7 to the mudguards 12. Also the lower tubes 7 may be made in two parts 7a, 7b to allow pivoting of the frame. Straps 22, 23, Fig. 3, connected to the respective upper and lower tube parts 7b, 7a pivot about pin 24 and are locked together in different angular positions by bolt 26 inserted in holes 25.
