Hubs; detaching from, and attaching to, permanent hubs; wheels with non-supporting casings enclosing spokes. - The hub C of a detachable wheel is formed of sheet metal and is preferably flared outwardly, being provided with an inwardly directed flange by which it is secured to the permanent hub or to another wheel. The tension spokes, which are preferably crossed, connecting the hub and rim are enclosed by disks F held in place by a ring of bolts E near the rim.
