Abstract

1457168 Warehouse storage WEELPAL AG 25 Sept 1974 [31 July 1974] 41637/74 Heading A4T In a storage system in which rolling pallets 3 are stored on inclined shelves 7 provided with end stops 28 and are removed by a transfer device 9 carried by a mast 8 of a vehicle, the transfer device 9 includes a device 11 provided with a pair of rollers 21 carried by a transverse shaft 16 the ends of which form guide pins 22 adapted, on movement of the device 11 towards a shelf 7, to engage guides 27 on the shelf to cause the rollers 21 to lift a pallet above the stops 28. The pallet is then drawn on to the device 11 by chains 18 carried thereby. The device 11 has rollers 15 running in guides 13 of the transfer device 9, these guides 13 also serving to support the pallet.
